There are a lot of changes with this new patch. What are some important ones?
A large patch indeed! There are many words, and if it weren’t for my gift in understanding what they mean when strung together, I would indeed be lost.
For this patch, a lot of name changes happened hand in hand with general sound and picture quality updates. Interspersed throughout, however, are the truly important morsels that will affect gameplay.
Report Player – Though my time with Heroes has been 99% totes awesome sauce, there have been a few butts that have crept in and filled my game with an unpleasant odor. With the ability to report such fiends, expect even fewer complainers (provided you yourself are not continually flagged).
Grave Golem – These bad boys now go straight for the structures. This means it is super-duper imperative they are taken down before they can push too far into your base. On the other hand, you could always make a double push with your golem (golem in one lane, the team in another) and force the enemy to split up to defend.
Attack Speed – Attack speed is now flat!! This means big advantages for characters that come equipped with attack speed bonuses (i.e. Demon Hunter). If you are any other hero, be careful trying to take these guys head on. They will be able to hit you much faster which means they’ll also get cockier and more likely to fall for your ambush.
Aside from all of the hero updates (Murky, Tassadar, and Illidan received a lot), these are the big ones you’ll want to be aware of. Remember to play nice from now on or else you’ll be stuck with other d*ickbags.
How do I get on fire? I want to burn with the flames of victory!
To achieve the most coveted of flames of victory, you must be a killer. More importantly, you must be a hero killer. Only from the blood of the enemy drenching your soul can you burn with the elusive flames of victory. Avoid death to obtain what only the weak cry out as unobtainable.
