ViBE is awesome. That more or less sums up this week's episode of StarCast. I could have sat and just talked games with Dan for the whole day. Alas there was indeed a time limit and a loose topic-focus on StarCraft. There's a lot of enjoy about this one. ViBE has been training for Heart of the Swarm and such has a lot to say about the state of Zerg and even more to say about Hellbats.

This Week in Blizz #43
There were some truly fun discussions on this week's episode, mainly Kyle asking the biggest question "why don't humans have laser eyes?". But Kyle's absurdity is not the only thing worth tuning in for.
The Heart of the Swarm Beta had it's thirteenth balance update as well as an end date, we now know what Project Blackstone is, 5.2 is coming sooner than you may think, subscribers dropped in WoW, there's and Isle with Thunder on it and Diablo III was the best-selling PC game ever. All this plus musing on Hellbats killing all the things on This Week in Blizz 43.
StarCast-Meme Bonanza!
So we had a contest on StarCast to give away a copy of Heart of the Swarm to whoever made a meme based on our show that made us laugh the hardest.

It's another week and another really fun interview on StarCast. This week we got to sit down with Elroy Pinto. If you're not familiar, Elroy is the manager for the StarCraft 2 and DOTA portions of Team FNATIC. The DOTA portion came as a surprise since Kyle and I usually only dig for the StarCraft dirt when it comes to our guests. But needless to say Kyle was ecstatic seeing as he cheats on StarCraft fairly often with DOTA. We talked about everything from r/starcraft to Warcraft 3. Elroy was a blast and his passion for eSports is so genuine.
More big topics this week were David Kim's blue post ramblings over on the HotS forum, registering your tournament properly through Blizzard, Quantic's rebirth and gushed over the beauty of GSL's Round of 16 groups.
This Week in Blizz #42
It took a lot of nerd self-control to not name this week's episode something having to do with the ultimate answer of life, the universe and everything. But let's put that aside for now.
This week we dug into the new Ai options coming to StarCraft in Heart of the Swarm, new portraits and David Kims hopes for the next Beta patch. I would have loved an option to play against specific Ai builds when I first started SC2 but it's better late than never.
The Warcraft movie isn't dead and it has a director (and he's well-reviewed)! So expect a lot of movie talk and more than a little hate directed towards the Last Airbender film, not that I remember how we arrived at the subject. But we bring everything full circle and get back on topic to talk more 5.2 and dueling in Diablo.

StarCast #137
compLexity’s Canadian Zerg player, Brendon “Ryze” Walker, joins us at the top of this week’s StarCast to talk all things that are “zergy”. Lots of HotS geeking out ensued. Kyle and I also had much to talk about after the interview. Heart of the Swarm has been officially announced for both IPL6 and MLG, Blizzard opened up and talked about some of the new tools as well as some strategic fads their seeing within their own walls and much more. Check out the VOD above or the podcast version and subscribe to our new Youtube!

This Week in Blizz #41
StarCraft takes the top spot on the news reel this week and expect it to stay there for awhile as we move closer to the release of Heart of the Swarm. There's a lot of love to be gushed over the HotS cinematic and the question is once again asked: why would you land a Viking in front of an Ultralisk? Can I also mention how excited I am for unlockable skins being added to StarCraft 2? Maybe not as excited as Kyle was to change all of his Zealots to Auir Chefs but that's how this show works.
WoW didn't disappoint this week either because there will now be five total levels of obtainable Tier gear. Also to keep up with the fan fair, there's plenty of ripping on me for my lack of daily running. Finally, if your Diablo character is too decked out in legendaries you will soon be able to be naked with the rest of us!
Carbot's Jonathan Burton on StarCast!
I had a blast... an absolute, fun as hell, blast on this week's episode of StarCast. StarCrafts is one of my favorite things to come out of the StarCraft community.
I feel when I watch a lot of other SC2 shows or read articles that we're in a never ending cycle of drama concerning eSports. But every now and then a Batman-like beacon of hope emerges from the darkness to remind us all why we are fans in the first place. StarCrafts is such a beacon. Jonathan Burton has created a weekly short that is a love letter to the hilarity that can come out of playing StarCraft and reinforces the reason I started this show in the first place, I love this game.
So Kyle and I sat down with Jon this week and talked all about Carbot Animations and what it's like making an animation every week. Jon stuck around as a guest host as well and talked about all the Heart of the Swarm awesomeness that dropped this past week. So please watch and enjoy what is quite possibly my favorite episode yet.
StarCast #135
I had a great time on this week's show, despite how my voice my sound. Hot Water Music show + Garrett = hoarse voice for about a week. But our good friend Achilles, who also writes for Team Evil Geniuses, guest-hosted and by complete coincidence was perfectly timed as there was much to talk about regarding EG. Spoiler alert: we're a little worn out on eSports drama in general, I really just want to get back to enjoying the games. So give it a listen and pipe in on the conversation by emailing the show (StarCastShow@gmail.com) or chatting with us in our forums or over on TL. Enjoy!
